The more I got to know you, though, the more I realized how much you suffer inside. I know your famous reply is "it's just my face" when people ask why you look so sad all the time. Most people just laugh and take your word. But I know that it's more than that. I can see through that cool exterior of yours, and I know that there are things going on within you that make your beautiful face crumple like it does much, much too often. But you're strong. God, you're so strong. To the world, you're just a kid, but hell, you can cut me down to size in a second. You're more inclined to make a sarcastic remark than to say something sweet. Yet, I find myself hanging on every word. You intimidate me. You’re small, but you're tough. You challenge me, and I respect that so much. And it breaks my heart that you don't realize how completely wonderful you are.

I want you to know that if you ever feel like the waves are crashing in on you, if you ever feel like you can't take it anymore, and fall into despair; I'll be here to tell you that you are the most dignified, intelligent, intoxicating, infatuating, lovely, aggravating, incredible, beautiful woman I have ever met. It seems that every man you encounter develops at least a little bit of a crush on you. You have that effect on people. I don't know if you see me as just another to fall under your spell, but I hope you don't. I hope you know how much I truly care for you. How much I want to make you happy. How much I think about you. How much I wish I could bear your pain for you, so you wouldn't have to hurt.
